The committee seeks and shares solutions to address low fertility and the ageing society with experts as well as the public through monthly forums, site visits, and a variety of discussions.
Monthly Forum on Low Fertility & Ageing Society
The forum—which has been held nineteen times (Jan. 2018–July 2019)—has addressed various areas including childbirth and rearing, aging, work and life balance, primary education, gender equality,diverse family types, and regional and population issues.
On-site Communication Events
The committee hosted discussions and talk shows to meet the public—including working parents, parents of elementary students, CEOs of SMEs, and young people choosing to stay single—in person.
Various Public Relations & Events
The committee promotes the paradigm shift toward low fertility and ageing society policy through a variety of channels including web dramas and public participation video events.
